Aida is the rightfully proud owner of her grandparents' former home: a lovely house in the Zaghouan medina. A well-known Tunisian author, Aida is also a good cook: she made us delicious breakfasts each morning, as well as an excellent dinner of traditional recipes one evening. We stayed in the very comfortable larger of the two guest rooms. The neighborhood is charming and authentic, and there are good hiking possibilities in the nearby mountains. Zaghouan is close to several Roman archeological sites and not far from Tunis. Highly recommended.

Tout ! Il s’agit d’un établissement de charme où l’on se sent bien dès la porte franchie.
Ni luxe, ni ostentation, mais belle bâtisse de caractère ancien, meublée et décorée avec goût.
Très bien situé, sur une des plus jolie rue de la bourgade, central mais au calme.
Aida la propriétaire est aux petits soins et prodigue une cuisine d’exception.
Ne manquez pas de réserver au moins un diner, vous ne serez pas déçus.

Good location. Excellent recommendations about what to do
It turned out more expensive than the price quoted and was a bit cold. Interesting owner; but she seemed not to like us!
