Nothing not to like. Very clean, comfy beds, helpful staff, short drive to town and a restaurant/bar on site.

The food in the restaurant was average.

A very functional hotel.

Not being able to open the window due to motorway noise.

Great location for our needs and super friendly staff.

Number 114 bedroom and bathroom very poor layout. Despite bathroom being large, my legs were hitting the sink unit unit when sitting on the toilet - just unnecessarily cramped with ample room to reposition the sink. Bedroom similar very poor layout. Despite large room, the make up area for my wife was positioned in a corner and very cramped. She had to sit on the bed to use it, no stool provided. Large TV positioned well away from the beds but with only one chair and table. This area had insufficient lighting for comfortable reading or writing. As a retired interior designer for a large national UK hotel chain I expected better from Holiday Inn.
