Ihastuttava kokemus

Ihastuttava paikka. Vuohet, possut ja kissa pihalla olivat hauskoja. Henkilökunta ei olisi voinut olla ystävällisempää. Ruoka oli erinomaista ja aamiainen monipuolista. Rakastin ruokasalia joka oli omaperäisen kekseliäs. Vanhat käyttötavarat olivat päässeet esille hienosti. Vaikka kielitaitomme olikin vajavaista tulimme ymmärretyiksi. Kiitos teille ja kaikkea hyvää.

toujours autant de plaisir à séjourner au domaine de Basil que ce soit pour y dormi ou y manger!!

Nous sommes revenus 3 semaines après notre 1er séjour. Nous étions cette fois dans une chambre familiale, un peu moins charmante que celles pour 2 personnes mais tout aussi confortable, propre et bien équipée!

Sublime endroit

Tout était parfait, l'endroit calme,reposant un vrai havre de paix, le paysage est magnifique. Merci pour L'accueil ainsi que pour le repas et le petit déjeuner super bon.!!

Great place to stay in Alsace, especially when traveling with kids.

The rooms were very spacious and clean and had great view. We stayed here before and we just loved the place as well as the restaurant, which is small, cozy and has really good food. The area is also beautiful with mountains and quaint little villages, castles and not far from Colmar.

well, the weather could have been better, but we couldn't book sunshine :).

informed them I would be with my dog but I initially would not accept him in the restaurant. Although later did when most customers had left. insisted on dining within 15’ of arrival😟

Well worth a visit!

Delicious breakfast, meat, cheese and fresh bread and croissants. Lovely coffee. Quirky restaurant serving very nice food.

great for one night on way to south France

it’s along the Alsace trail so good for a stop over but wouldn’t base myself here for a week. breakfast was awesome !

Great overnight stay in the woods

Nice small hotel in the woods. We stayed here only one night and we appreciated its quiet location and surroundings. The breakfast was nice with local food. They also have a nice restaurants and the dinner there was really good.

The heating is supported with the electric radiators and it makes the air in the room dry.

Enjoyed our stay, would certainly go again!

We were welcomed and checked in by a guy who spoke English very well. Personnel is very kind and helpful in general. The room was very spacious and the beds were good. Firm pillows. There is a kitchen in the room. The room is old but very clean, as is the bathroom. Breakfast was nice and the restaurant is absolutely worth a visit for dinner. Go for the fondue! The hotel is situated in the middle of the woods which is really nice. You can watch the birds from your spacious balkony in the morning. Many walks and hikes available close to the hotel.

Finding the way to the hotel in the dark can be a hassle, although google maps knows the roads.

On the top of a mountain in the middle of the forest. The smell of the forest is great!

The location is fantastic. And the restaurant is very good and very trendy.

nice all around, but: not listed accurately by booking

nice staff&location!! great nature! very quiet!

the problem was/lies with booking: the comfort room we had reserved was listed as having double or twin beds. we sent a mail that we needed twin beds. but when we got there ot turnen out that no rooms had twin beds except the very small standard rooms! those were booked, though! the proprietor arranged for us to switch--lucky for us! on another hotel site it was listed correctly--we saw later--alas!

Very good

Amazing room, we even stayed a night longer because of the nice area . Food in the restaurant was excellent.

The bathroom was a bit small.

Exceptional

Such a lovely spot! Good place for dinner, too. Good quality for money. Room was perfect, really nice.

There was a bit a lack of staff. A young man tried his utmost, but it is a bit more relaxing during dinner when you don't have to push your waiter to get what you want. But sitting outside on their teras is a real treat.
