We absolutely loved our stay at Castel Fragsburg! The owner and his family are incredibly welcoming, and their deep love for the place is evident in every detail. The staff are amazing, attentive, and clearly love their jobs, making us feel completely spoiled from start to finish. They organized so much for us, and with tonnes to do right on the doorstep, it made for a perfect trip. We cannot wait to visit this beautiful place again!

Glorious hotel in outstanding location. Attentive staff and amazing food.
Slightly too many cardboard affirmations and scrolls in the room, appreciate the intention but not the clutter.

The hotel setting is an eyrie above Merano and has remarkable views.
The hotel staff was unbelievably friendly and professional. Hotel management is to be commended for its choice of staff and for their training. It was a pleasure to stay here.
We chose the half-board plan and the food and wine were excellent.
I would say that the only drawback was the hotel’s fairly remote setting, which of course is also one of its attractions.

The breakfast was great…service mediocre
Service!!! Does not have five star amenities and service. An “attitude” that I have not expected in other northern Italy nice hotels.
