Very clean , but the feature is the sea views

I loved the view . And the music playing everywhere was very pleasant and appropriate from the Sky bar to the beach.The sea was gorgeous. The breakfast

Sea view room - stunning. Location - lots of restaurants in walking distance. Beach was very close and (once we established the fact), the sunbeds were free.
I booked for three people, when we arrived - the room was only set for two. We then had to phone down for an extra bed, an extra chair, and then extra cups... etc. etc. Attention to detail was lacking.
There was a very strong smell of drains from the bathroom and the bath had a slow drain. We did report this to Reception who said someone would attend, but we never saw them. The smell did wane and got better once we physically blocked all plugholes and drainage grills - annoying.
There was also an issue with the booking of sunbeds - prior to our arrival we had been sent a "Welcome" email from the hotel to "reserve our sunbeds" - when we looked at this, we thought it must be compulsory for the hotel (as is often the case) but as it was quite expensive, we decided to opt for one session and then see what the public beach access was like when we arrived. On arrival, there were signs in Reception saying sunbeds were free for hotel guests! We queried why we had been sent an email telling us to reserve and pay for our sunbeds, when these are free and were told, "yes, you have to pay - to reserve them" - this seemed a bit sneaky word wise, if the welcome email had said sunbeds were free for hotel guests, we would never have paid to "reserve" them. The Reception were very firm on this though and did not accept any possible confusion or attempt to offer any resolution.
