Nice place for family!
Nice location, staff are kind and friendly, have 7-11 and Family mart near hotel! Air conditioner and hot water are great, especially on Summer time. Near Taipei city zoo, great place to take children living in Taipei city!

The staff was very helpful. Free power adapters are available (the first two did not work unfortunately, but the third did).
Continental breakfast was rather very limited and lacking. To be fair, the local breakfast seemed to have a wide variety on offer. I didnt have time to explore it unfortunately. Power adapters are required in the rooms.

Very good
The staff was very friendly and very helpful. It's an old school hotel, with grand entrance and generously designed space. Event though it is old place, everything was well maintained and working properly.
The room was a bit chilly. The system is controlled centrally, so we couldn't change the settings of the AC.

Poor
The bath room of power circuit was out of order around 11:00pm, but their room service said no electrician was on duty. Unfortunately, we only had basic lighting available in the biggest room of this hotel.

Very good
Quite a generic kind of hotel with a decent bed and room. Nothing to write home about but what you'd expect from a decent hotel. Bit out of the way and a fair hike to Taipei central.
I don't understand why nice hotels in Taiwan can't provide a standard international breakfast. Freshly cooked eggs, good quality bread, and cheese would have helped a lot.
