I had a single room with a shared balcony and shared bathroom. Lots of space to hang out around the hostel and it was very close to the bus stop and directly across from the lake. The breakfast was great and restaurant in the evening had good portions
The cistern of the toilet was broken so it wouldn't stop filling up. The sink was also leaking. The room and bathroom smelt of damp. We did ask someone to fix it and they came later that day which was great. It is an old building so will have quirks!
There is no lift so a good walk up the stairs with your bags if you're on the top floor
The hostel is a 30 min walk from the main bit which I didn't quite realise (my lack of research) however the walk along the main path didn't have any lights so if you're a solo female traveller, maybe hire a bike so you aren't walking in the dark if you've gone out for dinner. This isn't the hostels fault but something to be aware of.

Hostel pod Voglom is the perfect place to enjoy the marvelous lake of Bohinj and its surroundings.
They have a lot of activities to offer for a perfect stay and are very welcoming and the breakfast is good. We loved our stay, thank you!

Location is amazing! Right on the lake and walkable to cafes & restaurants. Good on site restaurant and good breakfast

- amazing rental of boats, SUPs etc
- amazing location
- the staff seemed very overworked and under trained (probably natural for a hostel).
- the staff at the activity counter were amazing.
- some issues with cleanliness around the windows
- no kitchen - can only buy food as meals and the meals were not that good , one meal I ate I found very hard on my stomach. Worth walking into the town which has excellent food.
