The location, even though it is right next to the Beautiful Bohinj lake, is a little o a hassle to get to the attractions. If one is there for the water activities only, then it would be a super location.
The room with a view to the lake we stayed in was good. Being on the 4th floor have us peeping through leaves and branches to see the lake. The second floor should have a very good view on the lake. The beds were fairly hard but ok.
The breakfast room was cosy with the warm wooden structures. The breakfast is a continental one but plentiful although I missed some scrambled eggs at least. The coffee was good.
There were a lot of kids and a lot of noise came up from their floors - at least the accompanying teachers tried their best to get them quiet and into bed.
The area is gorgeous, but the +- two kilometer to the little town of Ribcev Laz, is really a draw back if you don't have your own transport. There is a bus stop opposite the venue, but the bus service is not to be expected to be on time. They are suppose to be on the hour but can be late anything up to an hour. Sometimes a bus appear just to told not to board.

Rooms were so cute, cosy and clean. The overall hostel vibe was lovely. It felt peaceful and secluded even though there many other guests. I borrowed a stand-up paddle board from the front desk to explore the lake and the reception staff were so relaxed and easy to talk to. We had dinner at the hostel on two nights for 13 euros each and it was very tasty. Hugely recommend!
The shower was a bit small so it was hard to shower without bumping into the curtain constantly. That's literally the only downside!

loveeeee the free breakfast, delicious and so many options! the location is also amazing - it’s 20 minutes walk from the main village by the lake, Ribcev Laz, but there is a bus stop right outside the hostel and its meters from the lake which is beautiful and peaceful. nice to have a normal bed not a bunk bed (because i got in early and had first pick)
wifi doesn’t reach the bedrooms. dinner was also a bit confusing because sometimes we could take from the buffet, sometimes the buffet was only for the school groups and i got served my own plate. it felt like a bit of a rip off when i got served my own plate as the portion was small, but it was great when i got to eat at the buffet.
