Apartment was clean, comfortable & had everything needed for our stay in York. There is a couple of flights of stairs to the apartment & a spiral stair case to top floor bedroom, which possible not suitable for anyone struggling with mobility.
It is approximately a 15 minute walk York Minster & the train station.
Would definitely return and stay in apartment again.
The plug in the en-suite stuck & we couldn’t drain or use the the sink & because it was the weekend there was no one able to come out and fix it for us. This was reported on the Friday afternoon that we arrived.

Quiet and clean, contemporary furnishings. Heating very good. Enormous comfy beds with ensuites. Chose flat 5 ground floor as my husband's mobility isn't too good. We stayed a week for my daughter's wedding so it was perfectly located near register office. Very quiet street, felt like home from home.
Didn't get the promised chocolates, only small kit-kat bars! Plates stacked on high shelf and I am short so felt a bit unsafe lifting them down. Non slip mats and grab handles would make showers safer for those with reduced mobility like my husband (and lots of older people generally). A significant demographic of visitors to York.

The location was excellent for accessing the city
There was 3 of us staying in the apartment, myself my mother who is in her late 70s and my son who's in his 30s so I had to sleep in a camp bed which was very uncomfortable 😐 . The apartment was very well equipped with everything you could need in it although it did smell a little dusty , and there was a lot of dust on the main bathroom extractor fan , we were also surprised that although there was a tray left in the apartment with tea , coffee and sugar on it there wasn't any milk other than that we had a wonderful stay

The photos represent the actual accommodation (not always the case). The kitchen was well kitted out and the beds were comfortable. The lounge had enough comfy seats for 4 .
The spiral staircase to the second bedroom may be tricky for older or less mobile people.
