The location was brilliant (less than a 10 min walk from the train station), the outside looked welcoming and well kept.
The welcome we received was enthusiastic and lovely (it made us feel part of the family). and the breakfasts were generous and excellent.
Penny is an excellent host.

Lovely guest house!
Penny, the hostess, is so friendly and welcoming!
Location is perfect, less than 1 minute walk from the beach, and just a 5-minute walk from the town centre.
The property is an old listed building but well-maintained, with a character.
Quite compact but fully equipped and very clean.
The bed was very comfy and the room had pretty much everything needed for a few days - fan, TV, kettle, mini-fridge, ironing board, extra blankets, extra towels for the beach etc.
Very good breakfast too - there is a selection of tea, cereal and other snacks to choose from, while Penny makes a full English right then and there.
Overall a great stay for a few days at the beach!
The room, although very cute, is a tad too small, with nowhere to sit apart from the bed.
