We spent four wonderful days at this hotel while trekking in the Dolomites. The hotel is beautifully situated, at the proverbial “end of the world,” in an oasis of peace and quiet, with beautiful views and surroundings. As city dwellers, that’s exactly what we needed. The hotel staff was very kind and friendly. The meals were delicious and varied. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to use the spa—we preferred hiking. We really hope to come back here.

Simply an incredible place in an unforgettable mountain setting, with cows grazing nearby. You can start hikes directly from the hotel, with several mountain refuges nearby. We also appreciated the free use of local buses, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The food was excellent, and the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. After a day of hiking, the many different saunas and the pool were perfect for relaxing. A truly special place and an amazing experience.
The only real downside was the drive to the hotel. The road is long, narrow, and winding, with some gravel sections, and sharing it with full-size local buses made the journey quite an adventure. That said, the spectacular location made it more than worthwhile.
