Ive stayed at this hotel many times and everything has always been exceptional however on my last trip, I was a bit disappointed. The staff was great and the rooms are great but there wasnt a microwave and a refridgerator in the room. Adding those two things would make the stay much better. The breakfast is ok but nothing spectacular. I saw a sign in the elevator that had a picture of eggs, sausage links and bacon but ive never seen those items at breakfast. It eould be nice to actually have those items for breakfast. My biggest problem was the pool area. I love the pool area, its one of the main reasons that I stay at this hotel but on this trip, it was disgusting. There was a party that happened there, the guests left potatoe chip bags, cans and cups everywhere....even the pool water itself had plastic cups and potatoe chip bags in it. The guests didnt pick up after themselves and the 1 employee that I saw there did not make an effort to clean the area in a timely manner. I pay good money to enjoy the hotel and its always my go to place to stay while in Tapachula but I might consider giving one of the other hotels in the area a try on my next visit in December

The rooms were spacious and clean, the breakfast was plentiful, the staff were helpful, the hotel was walking distance to lots of restaurants and coffee shops and the pool area was great.
The room smelt slightly of damp but nothing major, just a minor point to note.

The location. Its old but situated in a great place.
The beds were awful the dinning place
was with the TV so loud you had to scream to hear each other the breakfast buffet was small,
