Very cute garden style hotel with a storied past. Great location near the main drag and harbor. Had a communal kitchen on the main floor and a nice palapa hangout spot on the roof.
Beds a bit hard on the concrete bases. Was no hot water and the showerhead was tiny and could do water jet cutting if the pressure was up.

The staff was excellent. The manager/desk attendant Edwin is a fine gentleman and is a dentist with a dental suite in one of the converted rooms. He gave me helpful advice on many occasions (and calmed my nerves). Cleaning service was daily. Location is excellent to marina and local restaurants. Price and flexibility might be better if booked directly rather than through booking.com. Mattress was fine.
Pictures in booking.com show new-looking decor, and a nice sun-roof. In reality the sun-roof is a shambles, inner atrium was stacked with large floor tiles, decor is run-down. Construction / hammering was going on. A cockroach was on the floor one morning and I found some dead-looking bed bugs on the sheets, but no bites. Bathroom fixtures have heavy rust. Some mold on shower curtain. AC louvres were broken, unadjustable and blew cold air directly on the head of the bed, but I was able to workaround by blocking air stream with a towel. Notice the outdoor sign is sagging about 20 degrees from horizontal compared to the booking.com picture ad. Remodeling was in progress, so may improve.
