The hotel restaurant was good. The lady working the restaurant was very nice and attentive.
The driver to the airport was friendly and supportive as well.
There was mold in the room, which can be dangerous for anyone but really bad for my family who has asthma.
WiFi didn’t work.

Location. Needed a place to rest near the airport.
It has seen better days. Infrastructure is a bit run down and needs maintenance.

Having to spend the night in Santa Cruz between flights, I was looking for a comfortable place to sleep near the airport. Sun Hotel was extremely convenient in this regard. It took less than 5 minutes to and from the airport and a free shuttle was available. I was picked up promptly upon arrival and they were waiting on me when I was ready to depart.
The hotel itself could do with some renovations but was a nice, relaxing environment. I had a large room, very comfortable bed and a nice view of the pool. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast service were nothing fancy but provided some good options. The hotel staff were very pleasant and always trying to make my stay a comfortable one.
Some facilities and fixtures could do with renovation, but nothing was in disrepair.
