Great room, peace and quiet, comfortable stay

Great rooms, comfortable beds, really good breakfast. Lovely swimming pool. Secure bike storage.

Bit more information/help about where to eat in evening would have been appreciated

the room I had was very big which is nice it’s nice to have the kitchen open 24/7 easy to park with cars the “old house” smell is strong in the room I had

no permanent light outside - super dark when you arrive (especially when the city of Angouleme stops streets lighting at 23:00 to save money) noice isolation is pretty bad. certainly due to the fact that it is a old house would be good to be able to lock the door going to the kitchen from both side. right now it’s only one lock (with key)

A somewhat lower price would have make it great.

Setting is nice and rooms nicely renovated.

Personally I think the price is kind of high. No automatic room cleaning, you need to explicitly ask for it. The pool was not set up and in the courtyard it was dark ar night. A little bit of decent light would have been nice.

Very good

The location was amazing. Lovely outdoor space to sit and have breakfast or a glass of wine. Fantastic views of the town and a 40min walk to the centre. Right on the side of the golf course. The breakfast was fabulous..Use of the fridge in the breakfast room was appreciated.

Unfortunately the swimming pool was out of use while we were there which was disappointing as the pool was a large part of why we booked that accommodation . Our room had a connecting door to the breakfast room which was strange and a bit noisy first thing when guests were leaving early.

We stayed twice as we felt like it was home!

It was a lovely old house, tastefully decorated with gorgeous surrounding and a wonderful view. The owner was charming and very helpful.

A quiet idyllic location in the countryside. Pleasant welcome and lovely room and breakfast

it was a converted farmhouse. The room was spacious with lovely views on the grounds.

A bit tricky to find, needs better signage. nice simple breakfast but a bit expensive.

Lovely old French country house with modern bathrooms. On site parking.

No restaurant or bar. Had to drive into town to eat.

Superb

Lovely place, great rooms in a beautiful setting. Good breakfast with the most delicious french bread, jams and croissants. The host was friendly, helpful and very quick at responding to email enquiries.

Nothing not to like. My only advice would be one of the rooms had steep stairs to the bathroom so could be problematic for some if needing the bathroom at night and the other room had a lovely downstairs bathroom but the shower was slippery. However we would definitely stay again

The room and the bathroom were really big. Beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is great. Locked car parking inside the property.

Wifi sometimes seemed it was not working. The top floor room is beautiful but not for tall people

Good one night stopover

Picturesque location, overlooking a golf course with good views of the town. Large ground floor room with comfortable bed and a large shower. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast provided. Great dining area at top of the town. Recommend The Black Cat restaurant, very good.

Low headroom in the bathroom. Shower tray tended to overflow.

Superb

Location was good, quiet but just a few minutes from the heart of Angoulême by car, with a lovely view across the city. The pool was lovely, room was comfortable and very good breakfast. It was a stop over stay for us en route back home and it was absolutely perfect. The hosts were very helpful, organised a taxi for us to go into the city for dinner. Highly recommended.

Good place to stay

The B&B is really gorgeous, outside the city centre, in a quiet location, but the city centre is only 5 minutes away. The rooms are very big, the bathrooms as well. We arrived late, which was no problem. Jonathan gave us the name of a nice restaurant where we could have dinner after 9.30pm: Chez Paul. Breakfast is very good. The children loved the swimming pool.

Beautiful location

Absolutely so pleased we found this property. Stunning grounds and location. Lovely spacious room and very large modern shower. Short drive from the beautiful town of Angoulême.

I decided to take an early morning swim at 7.30 before breakfast...unbeknown to me, the pool was alarmed! I wasn't warned of this when checking in. Our host was a little bit grumpy to have been woken so early and didn't hesitate in letting me know. Maybe he's just not a morning person. 🤣Be warned! No early morning dips allowed!!!

It lacked some warmth from the owners and was rather ‘functional’

The pool and the view. Excellent shower in our room.

Difficult access up the stairs to our room. Not very much storage space and very average decor. Self-service breakfast.

Very good

Situated in the beautiful golf place on the hill, the view was fantastic. The staff was very nice explaining everything to us. The swimming pool with young the view over the town is incredible and breakfast in the sunshine as well. .

Great place and very good value for money. Highly recommended!

Fantastic location; plenty of space, green environment and very close to the city! Marion and Jonathan are very friendly and helpful. The room is big, very comfortable and the breakfast amazing. We look forward to come back to Champ Fleuri and highly recommend the place to any visitor!

Good stay with accommodating host.

Very friendly host. Clean room , nicely presented breakfast. One of the two rooms we booked was very pretty with great view of the city. Kitchen available to use.

Finding location was difficult. Attic room with bath only.
