This was our second stay at Marjakartano Hussola, exactly 10 years after our first visit, and we loved every single moment of our week here. It was wonderful to return after all these years and discover that this place is still just as special - perhaps even more so.
From the very beginning, we felt incredibly welcome. The hosts were very friendly, warm and helpful, and always quick and efficient to respond to our messages on WhatsApp. What touched us most was that they actually remembered us from our visit 10 years ago! It made us feel less like guests and more like we were coming back to visit old friends or relatives. 🤗
We loved starting our mornings with a cup of coffee on the terrace, looking out over the beautiful, peaceful lake. During the day, there was so much simple joy to be found: eating freshly picked strawberries, blackcurrants and raspberries, taking a boat out onto the tranquil lake, and wandering through the nearby forest, hand-picking wild blueberries, wild strawberries and mushrooms. And then there were the quiet evenings - reading a book, relaxing in the sauna, or simply sitting on the pier and watching nature around us. Marjakartano Hussola is much more than just a place to stay - it is a place to reconnect with nature, with yourself, and with the simple pleasures of life. Thank you for another wonderful stay and for making us feel so at home. We left with full hearts and beautiful memories - and hope it won’t be another 10 years before we return! 🍓🫐🍓

Een zeer vriendelijke ontvangst van een lieve dame
Heel rustig gelegen, groot huis met alle mogelijke faciliteiten
Goede bedden, sauna, douches, wasmachine, …..alle luxe van thuis, het ontbrak ons aan niets
Plaats aan het meer met bbq-huis, bootje en privé aanlegsteiger
Heel groot overdekt terras met prima tuinmeubelen
Wij vinden dit een echte aanrader, prima prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding

Accueil formidable pour un cottage de très belle qualité et très bien équipé. Une vue splendide et un environnement époustouflant: un lac, des champs, de la forêt. Un cadre très reposant dans une habitation très chaleureuse et tout confort.
Une adresse parfaite pour découvrir le cœur de la Finlande avec tout à portée de main.
Et puis une plage privée et son ponton, une petite barque pour de petites balades sur le lac. Sans oublier la kota personnelle pour les soirées « saucisses grillées » au coin du feu avec vue sur le lac.
