Oatlands is well worth an overnight stay to see the walkable historic village and stay in these three lovely cottages attached to The Imbibers bar.
Lovely, friendly staff made this solo traveller feel very welcome. Fireplaces in the bar, stone/brick historic buildings, Tassie wine, whiskies and cocktails.
My cottage (Barwick) was gorgeous, warm and comfortable, small but perfect for one or two people, with little extras like a heated towel rail. Bathroom is beautiful, good water pressure and quality towels, thick and soft. Bed was warm and comfortable.

The location was good, decor was pretty.
Bed wasn’t comfortable, sofa bed wasn’t made up ready and only 2 towels were left for 4 people.
