Great location and value for money
The room was tiny, barely big enough for a single bed and desk, the outlets were so high on the wall that I had to buy an extension cord to charge my phone, only 2 shared toilets and showers for all the girls at the property

Happy with the clean, secure private room near CBD at reasonable price. As a solo, female traveller I felt relaxed, safe here. Keypad locks on entrance and room doors kept noisy, drunks out.
The Alfresco communal kitchen was tidy & convienient to use - a credit to how the place is managed and the staff who clean it & tidy up every evening. All the washing machines and driers in the laundry worked well.
Nowhere to hang a few clothes or shower bag in the room or shared bathroom. It is b.y.o towel which is fine but a hook to hang it in my room was needed. Similarly I wanted hooks outside the shower cubical to hang a change of dry clothes.

No towels are provided. To be fair, the staff told me that this was stated on the Booking.com listing, and I admit I hadn't noticed it. But seriously, who would expect accommodation not to provide something as basic as a towel? I ended up having to dry myself with my own clothes.
Interestingly, while they don't provide towels, the first thing you find when entering the room is cockroach repellent. That's something they do provide. That alone says quite a lot about what to expect from this place.
Another thing I found particularly concerning was that you need to enter a code to leave the premises. To get out? Seriously? What happens in an emergency when everyone needs to evacuate quickly? Are guests supposed to remember and enter a password before they can escape? This raises serious questions about safety and emergency evacuation procedures.
