Baywatch Retreat Augusta

Great location. Clean, comfortable great facilities. Nice breakfast supplied. Also I was able to cook myself evening meals. Oh & the dressing gown came in very handy of an evening, love that it was supplied too. Staff member Anita is very friendly & made extra effort to help me out.

The private room was absolutely stunning and the bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of heaters, blankets and dressing gowns to keep warm. Cozy and spacious room.

The check in process was an absolute mess. The check in window is very small, I messaged to say that I would be arriving at night time and they just said that the key would be left in room. That seems okay but they didn’t tell me which room, so I had to try each individual room until one was unlocked. I imagine that having someone try open your door in the middle of the night is unnerving for the people who were in those rooms, but there wasn’t much else I could do. The electricity went out and it took about 30 mins to get a hold of any staff member to get help.

Clean and comfy rooms, but a bit small, so if you are out and about that's ok, but if rained in, not so. But there is a common area lounge and canteen area.

Only one chair in the room, because it's that small.
