Apartment, proximity to the city centre, Asda around the corner.

Absolutely ideal for what I needed: no-frills big group accommodation at a great price. Very quick, easy and cheap to get into the centre of Newcastle. Hosts were great, responded quickly and even did us a left luggage service.
Only issue was intermittent hot water in one of the showers and kitchen, but the host responded to this quickly and we made do with the two electric showers.

It was in a good location for the great north run and the bedrooms and kitchen area were lovely and clean.
The beds were really uncomfortable particularly the room on the end left hand side. It was very expensive for pretty basic accommodation.
