Had a lovely stay! The room, bed and service were stellar. Walkable distance to harbor and city center and restaurants. The details provided upon checking in were helpful. Highly recommend and would stay again!

We booked an economy room. The room was as described - it was small so we reduced the number of bags we brought in.
The lighting was great in the room and bathroom - bright so you could see what you were doing (hair, make-up, putting in contact lenses) or you could select side lights for a softer glow. The beds were comfy. The decor was very nice. We had a fridge & plenty of tea & fresh coffee.
I have mobility issues & Melissa & James went out of their way to ensure we had upper level parking on arrival. Melissa was a wonderful host and explained the flattest route into town. She recommended the Cosy Cafe for breakfast - a good choice,
The communal areas in the house are gorgeous.
The house is a short walk into the town centre.
I didn't realise how hilly Kinsale is and struggled a bit to walk back up the hills to the house.

The room was mega small. The location on a steep hill has virtually no parking, so be prepared to hike a bit unless you arrive early to this place. For the price it is OK, but if you plan ahead-----likely you will find a nicer place . All of Ireland is expensive, so if you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay, forget it. Not sure why Kinsale is expensive, but it is.
