The location is very good, within easy reach of the main historical sights in central Istanbul. Free parking is a huge advantage in this area, where finding a parking spot can be very difficult. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They also waited for us for a very late check-in, which we really appreciated. Another big plus for us was that pets are allowed without any additional charge. Overall, the hotel is very convenient for exploring the historical center.
The sound insulation was very poor — we could literally hear people talking in the neighboring room. Wi-Fi was also not working on the 4th floor during our stay. Breakfast was fixed rather than buffet-style and was not particularly tasty, although it was acceptable. There is also no elevator. This is quite understandable for a building in this part of Istanbul, but the stairs are rather steep, so it can be inconvenient with luggage.

We had a wonderful stay at Elisa Hotel Istanbul. We booked two rooms and both were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The air conditioning worked perfectly which made our stay even more enjoyable and the beds were very comfortable ensuring a good night sleep. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless throughout our visit.
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and always happy to help with anything we needed. The hotel location is outstanding, just a 4 minute walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia making it the perfect base for exploring Istanbul’s historic attractions.
We would highly recommend Elisa Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul and would happily stay here again.
