Excellent location, great food. Very much a gig hotel.

Love historic properties, this was very much that. Apartment good size.

Electrical wires everywhere with no heating on arrival on cold day. First night I was really cold. I am a private person, having to ask to have functional heating, bed heating, bedside table lamp, lounge entertainment is not what I paid for. No heating in Bathroom area. Stairs were a problem for me. But persevered. No wifi.

I would never go there again it was awful- I would actually like my money refunded

hotel part was cosy

room very small, broken furniture, holes in walls, cold and the share bathroom was dirty , shower full of used soap and empty shampoo bottles - rubbish bin overflowing and not very clean

not suitable for working travellers with PC requirements

Bed was comfy

There was no table in the room or chair to use my laptop and work- I thought this would be a minimum and ticked work stay when I booked. Hence could not use the wifi and more importantly not work in the room. Room was noisy from speakers downstairs

Great location, super comfy bed, quaint old pub and accommodation.

The meals could be improved. Three parmas, far from great, chips were ordinary, salad nice.

The room and hotel in general smelled VERY bad. The walls and paint looked like it was falling apart. Very bad experience.

Lovely pub right in the heart of Daylesford

Great location, apartment very spacious, comfortable bed. Food at pub was very nice, and staff very friendly. It's an old hotel, so don't expect modern bathroom...but it was clean and well organised.

We hadn't thought about the fact that the music from the pub would be booming til midnight. Our fault, not theirs...but it was still pretty annoying.

Great place to stay!

The staff were really feeling & welcoming. The food was delicious. I had the pub pie with mash. The room was really nice & very clean. The shared bathroom was good too.

depressing tired old building in much need of an update especially the communal bathrooms.

The staff were lovely.

The room was very run down, small and dingy. The window didn’t open. The communal bathroom was old tired and didn’t look very clean. We decided not to stay the night and headed back home. It was cheap accomodation but we didn’t expect it to be so poor. The photos were misleading. We didn’t ask for a refund because the staff were very nice.

Loved the traditional old Aussie pub hotel. great feel and the food was excellent.

nicely furnished room, comfortable large bed. Shared bathroom rather old and small and therefore cramped but good working shower. Needs updating.

update of small bathroom and small cramped kitchen would be an improvement but both were very clean though. However I was not happy about the fact that Booking.com advertised a cheaper price for the room (and I booked the hotel as a result) but I was charged the normal midweek rate by the hotel, which was more than the advertised 'cheaper rate'. Also Booking.com stated it was the last room for the days I wanted but when we got there, this was not the case! (lots of rooms were vacant!)

I would stay again,was very enjoyable, Thankyou.

It was a great place the staff were great, the food was great, prices were ok, nice looking building in and out,great location,nice size room, very large,loved it.Had a great time at the bar,met a few nice people, had a blast.

Would off liked to check-inn earlyer but was closed until mid afternoon,Would of liked a aircon in room,it was a very hot day,and when we tried to sleep with window open, could hear the coolroom conpressor ,so had to close window,but Over-all was a great stay.Room was very nice.

I will be sending email about some refund for the possibly the worst stay at a hotel. Disappointed.

The alarm going off at 6am for ovee 30mins and no one there to do anything about it so no sleep or comfort with anxiety and stress.

Had a large appartment. Very cosy on an unseasonally cold weekend

It was fine as we were only inside for a short time apart from sleeping
