I stayed here for 3 nights through separate bookings due to a change in plans. The location is super - just a stone’s throw away from the bus terminal and 2 convenience stores. Also very near to the roadside station, the port, eateries etc and we can even eat there as they provide a variety of potato dishes and desserts. I like the homeliness of this place - our futon rooms are like “bedrooms”and there is a living area and a dining area. This fostered interaction and conversations among the different guests who stayed there at the same time. The place was very clean and comfortable and everything worked well. I added breakfast on my last morning and enjoyed a lovely Japanese breakfast that was delicious.

Could be more flexible and hospitable at check in - on check in day, I walked past at 1+pm, asked if I could do early check in, and was told by the young lady the check in is at 3pm. I understand, so I took my luggage and went over at 2:45pm. The young lady said again sorry check in at 3pm, I asked if I can wait there (it’s a cafe/restaurant at the front of house area but it was past peak lunch hour so it was quiet and there were plenty of empty seats), she said I’m sorry you can’t wait here unless you’re ordering something at the cafe.. so I carried my luggage out and stood outside the home for 15 minutes.. I understand I can’t check in early but it’s the first time I encountered such a strict policy that I can’t even sit discreetly at a corner of the cafe for 15 minutes instead of having to carry my luggage out again and stand outside feeling more unwelcomed than a cafe customer. 15 minutes later I walked in again with my luggage, the young lady looked at the clock and said, ok you can check in now. The senior lady explained later on that my room wasn’t ready (I understand this) but if it’s just 15 minutes to wait with not many cafe guests and I had already carried my luggage in, perhaps they can be more flexible about letting me (or others in the same situation) sit at a corner table or even at the little connecting entrance to the home. Remember to bring earplugs too, as the walls are thin and I could hear snoring from the guys’ room even though both doors were closed.

Lovely place to stay with very friendly and helpful owner. Has a lovely room upstairs where you can relax. Washer / dryer available for use. Did’nt have dinner but the breakfast was very good. 2 minute walk to the bus station.

No complaints.

ロケーションが良くて、スタッフの対応もよかった。 外国人宿泊客が多いので異文化コミュニケーション出来て楽しかったです。

部屋のコンセントが一箇所なので、布団近くでスマホの充電は難しいかと思います。

夕食が美味しいかった。

枕カバーも交換をお勧めます。
