The cottages were spaced well apart, making it a very private stay. Location, location, location. The fire, the hot tub, the walks, all amazing!

Having the ironing board and brooms on view in the lounge room and not in a cupboard. Also there were a fair amount of cobwebs inside the property.

The seclusion. So peaceful and quiet. The unexpected extras provided by the host, like the free range eggs, chocolate, crisps, popcorn, make up remover (for partner) and bath additives.

The log fire was a little difficult to light and stay alight with limited lower air flow and the leaking of smoke into the main living area.

The cottage was clean and cozy. The beautiful view from the main bedroom was awesome. Watching the hens potter about was so relaxing. The fireplace was perfect in the cold weather. The electric blanket was heaven. The kitchen and bathroom were very well supplied.

It was situated well , views from every window were trees. Plenty of room, a spa in bedroom looked fabulous but for older folk difficult to get in and out of. Well appointed and lovely little goodies to enjoy.

A big stain on rug and carpet and one chair was off putting. Needed cleaning and area around fire place needing more cleaning. Cigarette but in ashtray not nice. A light mattress cover over electric blanket would’ve made it more comfortable as the wires in same were hard to lie on. Also a quick sweep around the outside of cottage would have been appropriate.
