It was in a nice quiet location and the lodge was large with lots of space. We could park right next to it. It' s a good choice if you have a dog, there is a lot of walking ground.
The deposit of 400 euros was ridiculous the lodge is in need of renovation the bathroom door had severe water damage. The breakfast had a very small selection and there weren't vegetarian options. Very little fresh vegetables.

Great Food, Very well maintained property, great staff
the spa isn´t really much of a spa to be honest, its a long swimming pool and a hand full of sauna cabins, not much more than that. Its absolutely sufficient to relax after a round of golf - but not really a proper spa destination in my opinion..

Very beautiful and clean hotel. Staff was extra friendly and polite. Breakfast was exceptional!

The pool was clean , the bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the bathroom was good !
Parking was easy to find.
The rooms that are in the separate building and are called lodges are super nice and very large !
The entire main property seems very outdated and has a weird abandoned vibe - where the rooms are located it’s like you’re in a prison ward or something … it’s very strange …
The walls are very thin and we could hear our neighbours …
We were refused late checkout due to a claim of being fully booked —- which clearly was a lie …
The breakfast wasn’t amazing but was edible…
Staff wasn’t very friendly either -
The restaurant in the actual hotel has shut down and now it’s the golf club restaurant that is their main restaurant !
The dining experience was the worst we have experienced in a very long time …
The main waiter was extremely rude !! Pretending he couldn’t speak English and gave us Italian menus claiming there are no English ones - finally after 10 min of trying to figure out the menu I went and asked a different waiter if they truly don’t have an English menu and he said they did and gave me some -
Then I asked him to please just put a plain pasta order in for my 4 year old and to serve it right away since it’s past her bedtime and he never put the order in -
Finally when I told him we were from Canada he became a bit more friendly and could suddenly speak English again ( we assume he doesn’t like Americans ? )
Anyways - we waited 30 min for a drink and over an hour for food … there were only 4 other tables occupied …
Also Two people got slight food poisoning from the food … ( do not order the carbonara )
The pool isn’t included in the room price ( which should really be mentioned when booking ) but after I seemed shocked and surprised and annoyed they let me access once for free ( was only there for one night )
The changing rooms smelled like broken pipes and there is no staff to help with anything or get towels …
Also no drinks are allowed at the pool …
