I paid - but didn't 'stay'.

Nothing. Booking accepted shortly prior to the reception closing via the app. When I arrived there was no method in place to gain access to the room. There was no method of contacting the management. In the end I had to make alternate arrangements for accommodation in Bangor. I have not received a refund of the fee.

Very disappointing

The staff in the bar were very friendly

Everything. The room was very small. The bathroom needed renovating - very poor condition. Jagged edges on some of the woodwork. When we let water out of the wash hand basin, sludge came up through the glug hope in the shower.(see photo) There was what we considered to be an offence poster on the wall regarding the use of the kettle.(see photo) There was a constant humming noise throughout the night from a boiler/generator.

perfectly adequate, if not wonderful!

The room was quiet, the bed was comfy, the tv worked, the staff were pleasant. I enjoyed my stay and the hotel sufficed for my needs just about

the decor and furnishings were tired - wardrobe a bit dusty, the bathroom ( I had a private bathroom) was a bit basic. the breakfast menu wasn;t to my taste so I ate out, not a problem but worth bearing in mind.

the stay was.. fine

The staff was very friendly and helpful!

the room was not very clean. mold in the bathroom, garbage under the bed and the kettle was practically unusable. mold and dirt covering the inside of it..

I would want to stay at the Traxx hotel, should I ever find myself in Bangor again,

well situated for my needs, friendly helpful staff, very clean, very good value for money.

Adequate.

it was conveniently placed for my destination.

Breakfast had to be selected and paid for the evening before. There was no option for an evening meal, which was a nuisance as the only local eating facilities are all fast food and take aways. The TV was microscopic; no bigger than a PC monitor. The sink tap was not secured in place (despite telling management this on my first night, it wasn’t fixed before I left).

Would definitely stay here again.

The location was very good as it was near to Restaurants,shops ect. The hotel was always lovely and warm never felt cold at our stay.The manager Wendy was very friendly and helpful.Definitely recommend having the cooked breakfast.

As the hotel was facing the main road,it was noisy at times.

Our room is nice and quite on the third floor. Nice views and comfort.

We can't use the shower on he night when stayed, it only running hot boiling water, the cold water turning is failure! Try to report to the reception but nobody on duty!

Very good

We stayed at the Traxx Hotel 14th & 15th January 2023. It is ideally located opposite the Bangor Railway Station. We were there to visit Friends so we did not eat in the hotel. The dining room was very nicely laid out. The staff gave us our privacy but were very friendly and helpful when needed. The hotel is a little 'tired' but it's clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. We will return.

Exceptional

The proximity to every needed facility, train, bus, shopping, city centre and the university of Bangor. The staff warm welcome and attention to details. The support I received to find my way around was overwhelming.

Last two nights we could not get electric facilities. No room heater, we cann't chagre my phone and laptop. Thjs is very bad experience

Great value

Lovely people, lovely room

One of the beds needed the mattress changing. I had to sleep on top of the duvet as the springs were poking into me. 3 of the lights didn't have bulbs in. It wasn't essential but it would have been nice to have use of these.

Great location. Excellent reception and enjoyed having a pub below for a pint on arrival. The room was spacious and clean.
