Great aircon and huge fridge and friendly staff. They organized a bike for us and a wonderful longtail boat tour to Koh Kradan
Very hard bed and no packing space for your clothing. Also the wash basin and mirror is located outside of the bathroom in the bedroom area and the lighting above the basin is very poor.

Overall, it was a good choice.
The staff were fantastic, the breakfast was good, and the view from the resort was exceptional.
However, I chose the wrong room. I wanted to be as close to the sea as possible, and the rooms in that part of the resort were outdated. The newer buildings, a little further away, seem more modern and comfortable, but it was my choice. On the other hand, it had a sea view, and I enjoyed being on my balcony.
One big plus was definitely the pool.
It's a bit far from a beach where you can actually swim, as the beach in front of the resort isn't exactly suitable for that.
I recommend renting a motorbike.

The staff were very obliging
The Koh Mook Beach Resort feels like a very neglected place. There is a big pool surrounded by broken chairs and sunbeds. The breakfast is almost uneatable, I decided not to eat anything in the resort. ( the cafe Dada next door was very nice). The room ( 3 room villa) was dark and had no view, there was no nice chair to sit on outside. The view was of the concrete end of the rundown swimming pool.
