The rooms were clean and ready when I arrived, easy to find and good location.
The people were extremely welcoming.
And to top it off, they got me a birthday cake for my birthday, I am very thankful for.
I wouldn't say there was anything I didn't like.

Basic hostel with ok facilities but price is fair for what you get. We had a dorm with 3 bunk beds and a toilet. Felt quite hot during the night but we were furthest from the AC. Location was easy to travel into central Osaka but overall a quiet location with not many shops/restaurants around. Staff were very friendly and helped us speak Japanese on the phone with another hostel. A few amenities like shampoo and shower gel. Did see some laundry facilities with a washer and some indoor drying rack.
Not the cleanest of places particularly the shower facilities and sinks. The shower was not well maintained and the shower head was being held on with a hair tie. On the second day the shower door wouldn’t close properly as it had come off the wheels. There was a kitchen in the hostel but it wasn’t very accessible or clean with lots of leftover food sitting around. Security was a bit lacking with a flimsy keypad on the front door and no other locks on dorms. There was a locker you can use for valuables but remember to bring your own padlock
