The location was really good with easy access into the centre of town (Grab). The views over the rice fields was beautiful. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious and the pool area was lovely.
The breakfast and the dinners we had at the restaurant were really nice, Ioved the pancakes and both chicken woku and beef rendang were delicious.
We don’t mind the calls to prayer at all but for anyone who does earplugs were provided.
There was a slight musty smell in the bedroom although it was spotlessly clean, maybe some air freshener would help?

Felt like a haven far from the hustle & bustle, but still close enough to do all the touristic things. Really appreciated the restaurant. It was a relief not to have to go out and look for a place to eat. Felt like they were our private chefs 😁
My only criticism is the weak-bulbed bedside lamps. Their light is just too weak to read by. There’s also the muezzin’s call to prayer several times a day (why do many? Are they really bad people? 😉) But that’s Indonesia, same everywhere.

Such a beautiful, serene, and enjoyable place to stay, with a very attentive and responsive owner and amazing staff. I truly could have been comfortable staying here for weeks! I booked for three nights and soon after arriving decided to add an extra night because it was just so perfect.
It’s quite far from the city but that’s what makes it so amazing, and there are still plenty of restaurants and things around. I also found that tours will happily still pick you up from here, so it’s the best place to be and I wish I stayed even longer!
The included breakfast is delicious with lots of options to pick from, and I also bought several lunch/dinners in house too - all were so delicious too! I also enjoyed extras like a nearby yoga class and on-site massage.
I can’t recommend this place highly enough 😊

Just loved the peace and quiet just outside Yogyakarta. After travelling across the west of Java, it was tranquil. Close to centre(20 minutes/ £3), nice food and beautiful rooms
