Great comfortable room central to a great little village handy to shops and pub etc. Julia is a great host and made sure we were comfortable and well looked after.

The apartment was excellent value for money. It was very well appointed and the decor and furniture tastefully put together. We were only there for one night but it would be an excellent base to stay in for touring this part of Northumberland with a well equipped kitchenette, and near every facility.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and apart from occasional gentle plumbing noises, it was remarkably quiet.
The breakfast offered was a buffet type which suited us.
The outlook over a quiet road junction and the river was very pleasant.
Some of the decor was a little tired but the overall experience was good, and for the price we were very pleased. We'd have been happy to have stayed longer.
