Très bon accueil de la propriétaire Mathilde, rencontres insolites avec des artistes locaux, cadre naturel exceptionnel (jardin botanique et vallée de la Seine)... Un super séjour plein de bienveillance, on y retournera !

L'Expressoir is situated 5 min from Nogent s/Seine. Mathilde was the perfect host. She transformed an old village café into a very friendly, cosy and qwerky "Maison d' hôte". A superb breakfast was offered at the time of our choice. The village is really lovely with a botanical garden and l'Expressoir is situated by the river Seine where we had a brilliant picnic in the evening. I thoroughly recommend this place if you want a feel of a true French village.

Close to Pornic, there's train connection to Paris if you don't want to commute by car
No air conditioning and apparently a little overpriced as for the quality comparing to other options in the area

Mathilde was really understanding when I was late and went out of her way to help me feel welcome and settled.The room is very tastefully decorated and breakfast in the morning was excellent - fresh and Mathilde was obliging on my wanting to start a little earlier. Highly recommend.
