exceptional value.

very close to the village. clean room with kitchen. We loved this village of Conques. great price.

finding the facility was bit challenging. gps and google map had a difficulty to locate it, but I could see why. It is a medieval village almost untouched.

Charming & comfortable.

The room definitely needs more lights. We booked an apartment because we knew we'd be spending time in it and working, reading, preparing meals. The lighting was limited, and the place seemed dark.

Beautifully renovated apt in historic Conque. Awesome having a fridge and fully functional kitchen. Great for a 2 day layover on the Chemin.

Need to read booking instructions carefully to get code for lockbox.

Great location and very comfortable. Lots of room in the apartment. Quiet and fully appointed. Great view from the windows!

A bit difficult to figure out how to get in especially when you don't speak French. But ig all worked out.

Quaint city.

Very hard to get to. Single lane road requiring a 5 point reverse at the place. Then up 43 steps to the lodging. Then drive down to paid public parking and up 63 steps (no railing) to the beginning of the 43 steps up to the apartment. TV didn't work.

Exceptional

Conques is one of my favourite places in France, so the wole visit was just perfect. It's already the second time we've stayed here and we really loved it. The house is charming, but the views are to kill and the Location is just taken from a fairytale. If you want to be a part of it, you should check it. ;)

In a limited selection for lodging in Conques, there are better choices.

We had some difficulty in finding the facility.

The wooden building floor had a lot of creaking.

Very good

The apartment met my expectations. It was spacious and well-equipped and had good lighting; the bedding was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The observation of sanitary procedures was impeccable, with plentiful hand gels and wipes for disinfecting surfaces at our disposal.

It was difficult to drive up to the building to drop off the bags, but if carrying the bags is not a problem, then it is only a short walk to the parking down the road.

OK but the 3 defects noted were very poor

This was Apartment 5 1. The smoke alarm beeped continuously through the night at 10/20 intervals making sleep very difficult 2. We were not told when booking that we had to strip the beds on departure 3. There was no barrier at the top of the stairs to prevent someone falling in the night

Clean, comfortable

No staff to check you in or let you know your room number, got a text that day in French (which I don't speak) with instructions, even though I had no WiFi to be able to get the text. I knocked on guests doors to try to find my room. There were Covid cleaning instructions for when I left, all in French The room was good, but expensive

excellent Conques is so beautiful

Excellent location of chambre d'ote, facilities, very clean, secure, The staff trying to help me get access were kind polite and helpful.

Rather dark we were in the cave and the bedding was slightly damp because of lack of air flow. I would think that other rooms would in the building would not have that problem. I thought there were too many rather over economical statements... cheap toilet paper, tiny magdelins, minimal refreshments, minimal soap. difficult to dry towels (lack of air flow). Unfortunately for some reason I couldn't receive the information for access and had to rely on contacting the staff by phone to provide me with it - they were extremely helpful and patient.

Great stay in Conques

Location is great, not too far from the Abbey. The room is spacious and even has a little kitchen. Clear instructions on how to enter. View from our apartment over Conques was great

No A/C but that makes sense in a town like this. Pillows were not very comfy.
