Huge disappointment

The view was the only good thing about the place

The road to get to the property is a narrow one lane road. Bad even for Greek island standards but this one is especially dangerous and sketchy. there is a part that becomes extremely steep, very abruptly, in a turn, with half of the paved surface missing and the surface that remains is slippery as ice. It took us 4 attempts to go up that part on the first time we attempted it. Twice we slid sideways with the car scrapping and hitting the trees and metal wire fence that is on the right side. Multiple time we went sliding backwards and having that happen in the middle of the night in pitch black darkness is no fun. We were driving a small 4x4 by the way, we had the right car and still struggled. The property itself is nothing to be excited about it is older than it looks in the pictures and the price is not at all justified. The furniture is old, the wifi doesn’t work anywhere in the house, the 3 bedrooms are like dungeons because they are underground and the bathroom they share is the tiniest bathroom I’ve seen in my life. Tiny sink with no countertop space, no space to sit on the toilet , and the shower barely fits - person. The pool was over chlorinated. It hurt our eyes how much chlorine they put in it. The biggest offense were the outdoor furniture. They were so rusted with rusty metal sticking out like knives. Criminal oversight. They did replace them eventually after we complained but it infuriates me how little care they showed for our safety especially with how expensive this place is

Great views and indoor-outdoor space. Hosts were very nice and very accommodating and helped us arrange transportation.
