About this house rental
Nestled in Buena Vista, this attractive house for $290 per night is a great choice for your next break. Live Colorado the way it was meant to be! Built in the 1920s, the first level of this spacious home retains the charm of cabin living at the time, with original log-and-chink walls, wood-beamed ceilings, two hand-built stone fireplaces and a clawfoot tub. Two decks are lulled by swaying cottonwoods, yet this property is convenient to all that makes Buena Vista a great place to live! An easy walk to downtown, this home is fun for sets of couples, extended families and groups. With a large, unfenced yard, this home has a back deck perfect for socializing and grilling. Inside, 2,200 square feet of living space lets everyone in your group relax and enjoy. The property is on the west side of town in an older neighborhood where locals walk their pets and enjoy the quiet surroundings. The bedrooms are cozy and rustic, yet the kitchen is modern and bright. Three bedrooms and 2.5 baths sleep up to eight, with two queens, one full and a pull-out couch. All beds, mattresses and linens are new. One full bath has double sinks and a stand-up shower, while a second bath downstairs has a clawfoot tub and shower, as well as a stacked washer/dryer. The upstairs bedroom has a half-bath and guests staying there must go downstairs to shower. The upstairs bedroom is very large, with vaulted ceilings, a seating area, and French doors leading to a second-story porch that offers a nice view to the west. Please note that like many homes in the mountains, this one does not have air conditioning. There are plenty of screened windows as well as three ceiling fans. We provide WiFi and cable TV. This whole house and large yard is available for you to enjoy! Please note there is a small, one-bedroom cabin on the edge of the property that is also a vacation rental. None of the space is shared but please be sure to leave the tenant's parking space open. STR-029

Great town in the mountains
Great property for families. Plenty of room and kitchen space. The outdoor deck is large enough to enjoy time and is open to the kitchen area for easy access. This place had everything we needed for 6 adults and a baby. It would be great with kids, too, as the upstairs area is set up great for them to play and sleep. The property manager was easy to get a hold of and check-in/out was super easy!

Good old style cabin for our family. Location was walkable to a park with a fun playground and fishing pond as well as walkable to downtown. Plenty of amenities and kitchen supplies to cook at home and a great deck for relaxing!

This was a wonderful historic place to stay. Plenty of room for two couples and a teenager to stay. Good communication and plenty of amenities. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants and the river. We would stay at this propagating!

The cabin on San Juan is in a terrific location! A short walk into town. And easy drives to Salida and MT Princeton. The cabin itself is charming and very comfortable. The cabin had everything we needed! The host was always available and made sure we were enjoying our stay. I highly recommend staying here!

Sometimes these properties don’t have everything you need to enjoy your stay, but this property had everything and more. The kitchen is fully equipped, the living room furniture was comfortable and sturdy. The fireplace was great and the house was quiet and roomy. We loved it and will go back for sure.

We were very pleased with our stay at The Cabin on San Juan. The cabin was well equipped, spacious and clean. Old Family Home, New Family memories
We had such an amazing experience t Fort Flag. The house brought back so many precious memories. The property has been well maintained and very clean.

A must when going to BV!
The cabin was beautiful and so close to downtown. We came to Buena Vista for an extended family reunion and enjoyed having a place for ourselves when not with the whole family. The beds were comfy, the showers hot with great water pressure and the seating areas were inviting and cozy. We loved being able to simply leave the cars and walk downtown and to the river. We’ll definitely be back!
