You cannot ask for a better location. You step out of your door right into Piata Mica. Plenty to see in the immediate vicinity, museums, old churches, restaurants, farmers market on weekend, the lot.
Cleanliness is top notch, not a single negative comment.
Music can be heard right outside your window, and I put this as a plus because because it is always coming from an city organized show; it is very enjoyable, and will not disturb your sleep schedule as it always ends at night fall.
The windows need much attention. I have visited this location three times and each time the windows were worse and worse. They do not open at all, and do not close properly. I have always went in the summer, but I shudder to think what would be the situation in the winter.

Big room, location in the center of the center:) ,breakfast ok. No problem for me, but there is no elevator and because the building is old the wood can be noisy

Location - right in the city centre, between Piata Mare and Piata Mica.
We had the room 115 (if I remember correctly) and it was very, very noisy. Downstairs is a Carrefour market and the ventilation or smth was going nonstop during the night, and you could hear it like it was in our room. I couldn't sleep for 1 minute. a window very small & very dark. strange smell in the room & hallway.
