BED BUG INFESTATION IN LADIES DORM

I liked the location, it seemed clean and comfortable at first. And that there was a small kitchen, the hostel is very large though and I stayed in the off season. I also really appreciated that I was comped for 2 nights as I took 2 cold showers due to some issue with the hot water. And I appreciated they brought in an electric heater when the heater in the room seemed to temporarily stop working. I didn't have a problem with the atmosphere at all like some guests, also the restaurant downstairs was nice and reasonably priced.

BED BUG INFESTATION in female dorm. A large bed bug crawled right on top of my blanket, around 12am I think, I killed it and put it outside but not before taking pictures that I showed to the receptionist- next day as no one answered the phone. He said "sometimes flies come In through the window" He seemed so unconcerned and the bug was so large (for a bed bug) that we wanted to believe it might be a carpet beetle or something. (they have a lot of carpeting) and we briefly checked the bedding and it looked clean. The other girl I kept in touch with broke out in a rash about 6 days after her stay, I started getting bites the day after I left and then was soon covered in bites. I warned the receptionist that if it was a bed bug that size it likely meant it was infested, and also that I'm very allergic to bed bugs. (just before I got the bites I broke out in hives all over my body and had to go on allergy pills) but was still very uncomfortable for a week. Also ruined the next week of my trip as I wasn't able to relax or even enjoy going to the thermal waters in Baile Felix due to worry about catching something from the waters, because of scratched bug bites and only went once. Also all the outlets very close to beds were broken or barely functional. I'm short with a short torso and accidentally banged my head on the bunk above me as they were unusually low despite the high ceilings in the room. There were only paper towels in the ladies bathroom the 1st or 2nd day an electric dryer would be nice maybe.. But mostly I'm just upset about the bed bugs. And the reply from reception that feels very gas-lighty makes things so much worse! (I been bit before but only by tiny ones and never to this degree)

Debería gestionarse mejor…

Ubicación perfecta aunque ruidosa, espacios amplios. Habitación limpia.

Sólo una persona trabajando NO puede ocuparse de todo, así que los baños y espacios comunes están sucios y descuidados. Las literas deberían de estar mejor equipadas.

Eine günstige Unterkunft im Herzen Sibius

Die Lage in der Altstadt ist super. Auch ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut, wenn man sich für ein Dorm-Zimmer entscheidet. Das Hostel ist sauber (wobei dies auch immer etwas von den Mitgästen abhängen könnte) und biete auch zur Selbstversorgung einfache Möglichkeiten.

Dummerweise lag mein Dorm-Zimmer (Nr. 3) in Richtung einer Gasse, wo eine Klimaanlage konstant brummend lief. Bei der Bettenwahl sollte man eher nicht das Fenster wählen. Die Metall-Doppelstockbetten neigen auch dezent zum Quitschen.

it was nice for stay for one night, for longer it could be less comfortable

Great hostel with a very boated roommate.

Great location and room was good. Staff was really friendly and very informative.

There was a weird local guy in my room who was farting all night. He had two glasses on the table that he would pour water to from one another. He was also watching a movie in german at around 3 am which I had to tell him to stop watching as I had to sleep.

Good base to explore Sibiu

Got personal light, socket, and very spacious room. Big lockers to use outside of the room, need your own lock. The hostel provides drinking water. Very clean in general. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. The staff is very friendly.

Showers are 3 stalls with shared curtains. Not enough cutlery in the kitchen

Perfect

The staff was incredibly nice. The hostel is perfect, clean, confortable, cozy and the facilities in general were perfect. Also the location can't be better. I 100% recommend it.

Had a comfortable stay and would likely return of back in the city.

It was easy to find. The rooms are large, clean and spacious. The staff and management were incredibly friendly and helpful. There’s is a nice big social room to hang out in. The hostel is right in the centre of the city with lots to see and do right on its doorstep. Beds were comfortable.

Perfect location, good for short stays

The staff was really friendly and the location is just perfect. The bathroom was clean and they had lockers.

Nice hostel, centrally located, 3 minutes from the Big Square, safe and spacious rooms.

Toilet were quite dirty with an acute mold smell.

Very nice staff

The location is very good, right in the city centre of Sibiu. The linens are clean and comfortable. Khan from reception was especially nice and welcoming. He was helpful with absolutely everything and made all the check in procedure very easy.

It was a bit cold but it was during winter and I did come late so eventually it was fine. Also it was noisy at some point during the night but due to a a drunk guest.

Spacious rooms and common areas. Everything was clean. Lots of facilities to avoid queuing. Staff were always helpful. I arrived late and was able to self check-in with no hassle.

The bathroom was very dirty and in reception often there isn't anybody, so if you have need somthing , you have to call.

Very nice stay

The atmosphere was so cool , the stuff is very friendly and the location is in a city center. I recommande it if you have a stop by Sibiu
