About this house rental

Situated in Rio Grande, this lovely house for $180 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Large furnished house with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, one of which has a large hot tub, tall ceilings, full kitchen with oven, fridge and kitchen utensils, bedding and towels and amazing view of the ocean and mountains of Puerto Rico. The property is 25 miles from San Juan (30 minutes from the San Juan International Airport); minutes away from the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort and Casino, a couple of miles from the east coast's best surf spot La Pared, and Luquillo's public beach. Master bedroom with king size bed, a crib, and walk-in closet and separate bathroom with large shower and hot tub. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with a large closet and separate bathroom with shower. The third Bedroom has a queen bed and large closet and a third bathroom next door. The fourth bedroom has two full beds. The property has air conditioners in three of the four bedrooms (room with two full size bed has a ceiling fan), cable TV and wi-fi throughout. The house is located on the second floor of a two-story property, therefore, guests need to be able to climb stairs (no elevator) to access the house. Full sized washer and dryer and open three car garage located on the ground level. We have a herbs/fruits garden on the ground level (back side) of the house where guests can take their fresh herbs for cooking. The house is fully stocked with toilet paper, paper towel, linens, bath towels, beach towels, and beach chairs. The kitchen has all full size appliances – refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender. Smoking is not allowed inside the property, but you may do so in the covered balcony around the property. Renting a car is recommended, as Uber coverage is limited in the area. The property is 25 miles from San Juan (30 minutes from the San Juan International Airport); minutes away from the Wyndham Rio Mar Beach Resort and Casino, a couple of miles from the east coast's best surf spot La Pared, and Luquillo's public beach with over 60 food kiosks to savor you can't miss. You may want to go hiking and enjoy a day finding majestic waterfalls at one of our natural wonders, El Yunque Rainforest, which is 4 miles away. And there's nothing more magical than spending a night kayaking through glowing water at Fajardo's bio-luminescent bay, only 10 miles away or while in Fajardo you can take ferry to Culebra and Vieques. There are many restaurants in the area, including: Rio Grande (same town where property is located at): • Richie’s Restaurant • Lluvia Deli Bar & Artefacto • Restaurant Don Pepe • Dos Panza Taqueria & Cantina • W Sushi Bar Luquillo (town five miles away from the house): • Boardriders Surf Bar & Grill • Pasta y Pueblo • Kioskos – The Luquillo kiosks are about 60 different places, each of them are numbered and many of them are named. A few sell souvenirs (like Monkey Threads #30, and Studio Coco #13), some are specialty bars (like Tattoo Tavern #17 and Mojito Lab (in lot before #42) and some are vacant. But most of these kiosks sell food and drinks. Some of these places have been run by the same family for over 20 years, while others are brand new and recently opened. It is hard to say which ones are the best — it all depends on what you feel like eating! But most people will eventually have a favorite — just ask a local and you’ll find out for yourself! You can stop by for a simple snack or just an ice-cold beer, or take some time and enjoy a "real" nice, sit-down meal. Or just bar hop and skip the food, if you can resist! A number of places will have live music in the evenings (especially on weekend nights). There are even a few with pool tables. Fantastic, don't hesitate to book this vacation home. It was clean, picturesque, easy to get to. It is a very large home, and Sonja thought of anything we could have wanted. Truly perfect and we had such a great time

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to wake up or end each day of our vacation. Easy drive to everything but yet away from the hustle and bustle noise. House was well equipped with essentials and useful items. Everything was well maintained and having a crib for our toddler was perfect.

This is an amazing property, with 180 degree views of the ocean and the peaks in the El Yunque rain forest. The house has high ceilings an an open floor plan with plenty of room and a very well-equipped kitchen. Check in was super easy and the wi-fi worked well for work. There are many beaches within a five minute drive and the rain forest was nearby.

Sonia's home was perfect for our family Christmas vacation. It was away from all the hustle and bustle of San Juan but very close to multiple beaches. We tried a new one each day and the experience was great and different. It was only about a 30-40 mintue drive into San Juan and we took the ride in twice. There are plenty of eateries close by, if you don't want to go far Rickie's is walking distance from the house. We planned on taking a trip to El Yunque, unfortunately the day before we arrived things changed because of COVID. If this is something you want to do you have to make reservations, same with some of the other excursions nearby. All and all my family enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future.

I would highly recommend air conditioning on the fourth guest bedroom with the twin beds are at, my kids had to share bedrooms with us since it was so hot the wind was nice but not enough for the kids. But other then that we loved our stay there. Will definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

The house had a perfect location, space,facility & price. The view was amazing. Recommendation the house needs Iron and ironing board, also new pillows.

This house has majestic views and nice breezes almost every night. It is conveniently located to lot's of different attractions and the airport. The property is clean and there are no chickens or roosters. We had a problem with the range and the owner replaced it the next day! I was blown away by how fast she responded. Thank you Sonia, you are amazing. I was there for work but if I'm in that area for any reason I will stay again.
