Situated in Alabama, this attractive house for $115 per night is a great choice for your next break. Hawk Nest, is the newest addition to Above the Clouds Inn, which has been welcoming our guests for over 23 years now. Now with a gas fireplace!! And a Fire pit with wood provided. Wonderful views of the 7000-acre valley from your private deck. Fine restaurants and golf are nearby. Cloudland Canyon State Park, Rock City, and Ruby Falls are minutes away!! We have created a "cabin feel" but added all of the modern conveniences to make your stay truly one to remember. It is a Cabin Condo in the Clouds. Priced especially for couples at $115 a night and $135 for up to 4 guests. We can sleep 6 but don't recommend more than 4 guests Two large upstairs bedrooms. The "King's" or "Anniversary" room has one king bed, and The "Queen" Quarters" has two queen beds. each bedroom has its own private heat and air unit that is totally silent. the bathroom is on the first level We recommend four adult guests maximum but with the three beds, we can accommodate six. Children are welcome The interior is all wood, mostly from trees we harvested ourselves. Everything is all-natural, with no stains. It is your place to kick back and relax. An important note: We have a set of reasonable house rules. We ask that our guests carefully read them and follow them. We hope to leave a five-star review for all our guests and hope you can leave the same for us. We hope that you will leave our lovely cabin as as you found it.

This place has beautiful views, the beds and shower was great. We had such a good time we saw snow for the first time and it was beautiful. The location was great and there is a lot of stuff to do near there. Highly recommend 😊

It was a beautiful place, clean and well attended by the owners who live close by. Bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom/laundry are downstairs. Beautiful views, very cozy.

Everything about this property was fabulous. The cabin was a perfect size for us. Sitting on the private deck looking out at the view was so peaceful. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. We met the owners of the property and shared a great conversation. Very kind couple. Their daughter has a cabin in Boone, NC, which we are interested the next time we travel. Plenty of hot water and the shower head high enough for my tall husband. The bathroom is down stairs with 2 bedrooms up stairs, which didnt bother us a bit. Air conditioner worked great. Lots of things to do close by. Rock City was amazing. We do reccommend you try the local steak house, Canyon Grill. They open at 5pm and reservations are recommended. A little on the pricey side, but the best steak I ever had. Great service too. If you're looking for a nice small cabin on a mountain top, this is the one for you.

This adorable cabin was in the perfect location for us. We got to enjoy the beautiful Smoky Mountains, while getting the quiet country experience we were looking for. We visited Rising Fawn, GA during the Southeast Lineman Training Center ELP Class 71 graduation. This cabin is just a short drive to the school for the rodeo and to Chattanooga for the graduation. Thank you to the Bollings for their wonderful place to stay! We loved every second.

A lovely experience for our family of five! Enjoyed the cozy and well equipped home and its surrounding view. Owners live right next door so communication was seamless! Would love to return in a different season to experience another side of Lookout Mountain!

5 stars!! This trip was by far the BEST one we have been on! The Hawk's Nest was just what we were looking for in a place to stay and the views were nothing short of AMAZING! Dave and Carole are the BEST hosts too! They made sure we had everything we needed and gave suggestions on places to visit during our stay too. Sweetest people you'll ever meet! We really enjoyed our stay! The property has a beautiful porch view and is very cozy inside. It’s very clean and close enough to town or stores to be very convenient and far enough away to seem like you’re a million miles away from civilization. If you are looking for a very peaceful place to stay off the beaten path then you will love it here.

The view is stunning. Words cannot describe how gorgeous it is. Our hosts, Dave and Carol were so gracious. It is a very short drive to Cloudland Canyon State Park. It was a great private getaway and we cannot wait to go back.

Perfect little cabin for a quick weekend retreat to celebrate my brother's birthday. Had never before been to Rising Fawn and was very pleased with this unknown treasure. We even saw a fawn outside the cabin one night! We hiked at Cloud Canyon just minutes away and we had brunch at the Creag at McLemore (also close by) which was fabulous. The cabin itself was very clean and cozy and our hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Our stay was amazing! We loved every moment. The cabin was beautiful and cozy. It had everything we needed and nothing was overlooked. The woods and creek flowing by made for a very relaxing stay. I almost hate to leave a great review because then everyone else will discover this little piece of Heaven, but it was too wonderful not too! We will definitely be back again!
