Nestled in Governors Harbour, this attractive condo for $265 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Welcome to The Governor's Collection - Anchor Point Apartments; an affordable, condo-style development located in the heart of Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera. The complex is comprised of two buildings: One contains 2 one bedroom apartments and two standard two bedroom apartments, while the other contains 2 larger, two bedroom apartment suites. All units are built with covered, outside balconies that offer fantastic views of Anchor Bay. On a calm day, you may be lucky to spot resident dolphins playing in the waters just outside! Apartment #2 is a spacious, upstairs 2 bedroom apartment suite with an open plan living and dining area. The master bedroom features a newly added 4 poster bed and there are 2 twin beds in the second bedroom. These can easily convert into a second king bed, with mattress topper, on guests' request. For groups of more than 4, there is a pull out sofa in the living room which can comfortably sleep an additional single, or couple. There is also an additional single roll away bed that can be provided, on request. Pricing for this unit is based on occupancy, allowing smaller groups (4 or less) to enjoy the apartment at a lower rate while consuming less utilities and creating less wear on the property. Please ensure you select the correct quantity travelling for accurate pricing and bed configuration ahead of arrival. Our apartments are located in the vibrant heart of Governor's Harbour, a prime location for exploring Central Eleuthera. We are one block from the historic Haynes Library, and less than a 1/4 mile from Cupid's Cay, home of the Eleutheran Adventurers, and the site of the first Bahamian Parliament in 1746. Every Friday evening there's great Bahamian nightlife at the Anchor Bay fish fry, a short stroll from the apartments. Here you can sample locally prepared, down-home Bahamian food - including conch salad, deep fried fish, grilled chicken, macaroni and cheese, and peas n' rice. Mingle with friendly locals, winter residents who visit the island each year for several months at a time, or tourists seeking a fun night out - there is a live DJ, local beers and cocktails, limbo contests and dancing in the streets until late into the night! Our place is in walking distance to the local food stores, banks (2 with ATMs), coffee shops, gift stores and more - But, if you want to really explore the island, it is best to rent a car. There are endless secluded beaches the length of the island, waiting to be explored!

The apartment was spacious and well-equipped. We used the beach chairs, umbrella and small soft-sided cooler daily. We were able to cook multiple meals in the kitchen. The property managers were very friendly, helpful and communicative. The apartment is on the edge of a neighborhood there is a local restaurant/bar behind - a lot of locals gather and hang out there nightly, and it can get a little loud sometimes until the early morning hours. Nothing that can’t be resolved with some ear plugs or a noise maker - we would still stay here again!

We absolutely loved the condo at Anchor Pointe. It was beautifully decorated, air conditioned, and very clean! The view of the turquiose water was nice! The only negative is there were lots of people in and out of the house/?restaurant next door and we could hear them at all hours of the day. We brought an sound machine with us and this was enough to cover that noise though! Highly recommend renting a car and booking boat tours in advance. There were none available the time frame we were there. We will definitely be back!

Super clean unit, located right in Governor's Harbour. Everything we needed was included. Can walk to grocery, dining, and beach, but a car is recommended to fully enjoy the sights of Eleuthera.

Words can’t describe our stay at Anchor Point Apartments. Joy and Dom we so helpful from every aspect. Helping us plan the trip, what we needed to bring, where to get a rental car (Cadet Rental company was great - from the owner that we met at the Blue Room, to Jeremy that provided the rental car at North Eleuthera Airport and the pick u as well). The apartment looked just like the pictures. The view of the harbour never gets old. The fresh bread, danish and beer when we checked in were greatly appreciated. It was fantastic to have chairs and an umberella at the rental. We explored so much of the island and can’t wait to go back. We went to a different beach everyday (thanks to the book provided by Joy and Dom, it was easy to find with great directions). The food was amazing. Definitely recommend contacting Marina or Horatio at Da Perk for a carry out meal they will come up with a meal all are sure to enjoy. The entire island is so friendly and the beaches are the best I have ever seen. Thank you Joy and Dom - we will be back for sure!! Our 9 year old twins are already planning our next trip.

The Anchor Bay Apartment was perfect. The location and views were wonderful, the kitchen well equipped and the decor was so nice. Joy and Dom were wonderful hosts who provided a wealth of info at check-in. The Friday night Fish Fry is right down the street and nice to have the local touch.

My husband & I loved everything about our stay here. The location was perfect for us. View of the water and we walked everywhere in Governor’s Harbour. The apartment itself is absolutely lovely. Well equipped and extremely comfortable! We loved it!
