Extremely disappointed in our accommodation when we were so looking forward to a fabulous week in a beautiful part of Au

Close to beach & shops

We had to put all dishes, crockery, cutlery, mugs & glasses we used through the dishwasher as they were dirty. The spatula had egg remains on it!! The windows & window ledges/sills were filthy. There were cobwebs & dust throughout the apartment & a huge dead cockroach in the toilet room. The overhead fan in the main bedroom didn’t work but was repaired after consultation with the managers. The portable fans were rusty & very old. There was little in the way of bowls, storage containers & the frying pans need replacing. There were no dishwasher tablets or rubbish bags as a starter pack, except 1 bag in a broken bin. There wasn’t an information pack available regarding emergency services or local visitor information. The door on the washing machine needs fixing. The outside area - back & front verandahs were littered with dead leaves, dirt & a chux cloth!! The steps are an OH & S issue - they need a handrail, the tread on the stairs are too narrow, the non slip strips were worn & in some instances, non existent & they needed a pressure washer on them - filthy. The unit is way overpriced for what you get, despite school holidays & certainly doesn’t match the advertising on the website. If staffing is an issue customers need to be advised.

There were no bedding or towels provided. There was no reason for it not to be included. We had to urgently purchase bedding and towels.
