A pleasant stay. Great staff.

It suited the purpose I traveled for. I didn’t spend much time in the room. For sleeping fine, not if I had to spend more time in the room.

Good, comfortable stay in Kingston at a convenient location

Very friendly, efficient and professional staff. Great room facilities and room was very clean. Good food, especially the Jamaican breakfast. Convenient location.

Soundproofing of rooms could be better.

I would stay here again.

The staff was friendly and provided great recommendations for food and activities. My drivers Martin and Lendy were amazing, highly recommended if you stay. They are knowledgeable of the history of the country as well as the activities you choose. I stayed in the penthouse two bedroom suite, the room had modern finishes and TWO balconies. The safe was working which is always a plus. Staff respected privacy and was always available when necessary.

The ppl was in the middle of the lunge and eating area. It was more for aesthetic than for swimming. However, If you’re comfortable swimming while people eat you will be fine.

Overal the hote was amazing and great location. Will definitely stay again

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and restocked daily with water. The artwork was appropriate. Bedding was clean. The staff at District 5 (rooftop lounge) was amazing. The drinks were great and the food is a 7/10.

The parking lot was extremely tight. You have to be an experienced driver to navigate the one way in and out. The pool is more for aesthetics then to swim in. It is on the roof however it is in the middle of the lounge and eating area. It is relatively small, similar to one lane in an Olympic size pool.

What we needed.

The staff at reception helped me and were very good and polite.

Woken up by what I think was housekeeping in the car park at 5:15am in the morning, talking extremely loudly. Our room was just above it. The breakfast bacon was very greasy and hash brown over cooked but Jamaica style was nice. I think the hotel is over priced for what it was though.

Love it, will definitely return.

The staff were amazing, very friendly and professional; especially front office and the waiter. Breakfast was great. Room was very nice.

The pool was not what we expected. Seeing there’s a sink in the kitchen area, soap and scotch-brite was expected, but it wasn’t bad as we didn’t use the plates much.

Overall, it was great atmosphere, lovely staff. lovely breakfast and dinner options. I would definitely stay again.

We loved everything about the property, especially the washer/dryer addition in the rooms.

The only thing I didn’t like about the property is the crack in our door. I was able to see in from the outside, especially when the light was on.

Hallway, where carpet was has an order, and room doors had cracked that you can see through. Bed needs to be higher off the floor, it's only 2ft.

I liked that there was security at the gate 24/7. The rooftop restaurant was nice and relaxing.

Extremely happy I stayed here and definitely returning!

From reception Nicolina to breakfast fave server Kimberley, the service was beyond 100%. The R hotel staff must be commended as they exceeded my expectations. They were warm, welcoming, very detailed in explaining everything about property etc. Very happy to have stayed and definitely returning. You all made my vacation a very happy experience.

RHotel has great location, food, comfortable rooms , delicious food in their restaurant and Avery professional and frie

The rooms were large and clean . The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was great . I loved the bar on the roof. The staff was amazing !!!

clean and convenient with great breakfast

great location, easy to drive to for someone not used to Kingston traffic. clean, great breakfast with lovely views of the mountains and city, helpful staff. comfortable room. upgraded from room with balcony to room with kitchenette as it’s much more spacious and has clothes washing facilities which turned out to be useful. very close to Devon house and used Uber to do some sightseeing. secure key system to move around hotel with access to common areas and own floor.

views directly outside just a car park but it’s an inner city hotel so no problem there really

The place was clean, the food very good, the staff friendly and the location great.

I didn't have breakfast however dinner was great. The server was very helpful and pleasant. The food was delicious; we had the curried goat and the oxtail.

I could hear every word the persons in the adjoining room said, so no doubt they could hear us as well.

The hallway carpets are a challenge with a suitcase, tv channels are limted, most are unavailable. The coffee in the room is terrible (and the creamer packets). The breakfast was ok, didnt taste authentic, dumpling was tough and portion size was undesirable. The cold buffet is also poor. They should at least have coffee service at the table.

Excellent, I enjoyed my stay. The staff were super friendly, helpful and warm!

I stayed at this hotel for a week and here's my review: Breakfast was amazing - wide variety of options, tasty food and great portions (one wouldn't need to eat lunch as the breakfast portions would sustain you until dinner)! The front desk, restaurant and cleaning staff were all really friendly, helpful and accommodating - I'm especially grateful to the cleaning staff who made sure my room was clean, tidy and had a fresh set of towels and toiletries everyday. I loved the location of this hotel, close to Devon House, Bob Marley museum etc - we were there for carnival and were able to join the road march along Trafalgar road in less than 2 minutes :) I also appreciated that this hotel had secure parking - the parking bays were a little tight, but manageable if you take your time. There's also a gym in the basement, which was really useful for me (I woke up earlier than my friends and would keep myself occupied by working out whilst they were asleep).

There were a couple of mornings where the breakfast service was a little bit slow, mostly due to food options/coffee running out - otherwise, no major issues.

I travelled with my young baby and asked prior to booking hotel if the pool was for family with children , the staff lied. The pool was closed off most of the time and when it was open , it closed at 4pm .The pool was also extremely small , so small that no one swam in it. It was there for display , also the electricity kept cutting on and off and there was no kettle or complimentary waters in my room
