The location was perfect, the staff were very attentive and friendly and the breakfast was very nice. We would highly recommend staying here if in Hvar. The hotel went above and beyond to make our first wedding anniversary feel special.

The location was excellent, we loved being so central.
The breakfast was ok, I liked the fact they served it until 12 making it a brunch option.
I liked being able to sit out the front and watch the world go by.
The bed in my room was creaky and uncomfortable, it was supposed to be a double bed but felt like 2 single beds shoved together and they were old and creaky.
The breakfast was ok but thought it lacked versus other similar level hotels.
I was disappointed that we requested to amend our booking to remove uneaten breakfast as our whole family were unwell and there was no flexibility offered to do so. I am sure had we booked originally without breakfast they would have been able to amend/add last minute. Therefore we wasted the cost of breakfasts!

The location of the hotel is great. At one end of the Riva with the hustle and bustle that brings. It was good for watching the boast come and go, and people watching the unending stream of visitors moving up and down the quay.
The breakfasts were amazing with an incredible range of options. I liked the fact that bubbles and bucks fizz appeared to be the norm!
The staff we very welcoming and friendly and provided excellent service. Check in (in the rain) was wonderfully handled with the offer or a towel with a glass of prosecco.
Hvar is a wonderfully historic town and has many wonderful sites to visit.
For the money, I thought our room was smaller than i expected. We booked a Marina Double with sea view, and it was incredibly tight - considering it was the most expensive hotel on our trip, it was a bit of a let down.
Hvar attracts many young groups drawn by the nightlife, which is great if its your thing but does have an impact. Late night returners to the hotel were disturbing.
The hotel, and many other establishments, rely heavily on the weather and most of the time that is fine, but in days of poor weather (as we experienced), it highlights limitations. Capacity for breakfast was challenged without the outside space and seating in the lounge area, just about adequate. These is no simple answer but it was a good job we were happy to share with other guests.
Put simply, we expected more for a premium price.
