Although the people who run the hotel are very nice, I would never go back.

The service was quite decent

As soon as I arrived I found myself in a neighborhood where if you are a woman and you go alone you will probably not feel comfortable at all. Also, heroin syringes in the windows. Very shabby, in the single room the toilet and shower are next to the bed, with no wall or curtain. In addition, there are doors in the room that do not open and lead to other places, plus a window without curtain and at the height of anyone who looks out.

it was a good value for money

Room was ready early, very big size

From train station bruxelles north there are a lot of drug dealers before you reach hotel. Best to travel during the day and not to get out at night

The staff are nice people, the location is near to the nord station, the staff are helpful

The shower was broken, also the toilet combination wasn't worl well, and the most bad thing is the heater was working all the time i can't stop it while it was so so hot inside the room

a nightmare

There was a terrible smell of smoke inside the room. The sheets were dirty. We ask for a pillow because they gave us just ones and they give us a sheet to use as a pillow... Outside the building is not a safe area especially by night. Avoid this place if possible, 80€ per night is a crime for this place.

Walking distance to city centre

Very dirty. We were on ground floor and had window with just a see through drape and if people were in front of the window, they could see us sleeping. Bathroom door could not close. We have heard everyone ringing the bell when entering hotel during the night. Very very sketchy location. If we knew before, we would not book it. One of the worst places we stayed in.

Great staff and location

The staff was really nice at all times, really helpful. The location is great, it allows you to go to the city centre by walking It also has a big park nearby, which also leads to the centre Really nice, even though at the moment there is construction in the street where the hotel is so it's a little uncomfortable, but it will be great once it's finished

The room was really REALLY humid, cold too and the bathroom wasn't really clean... It also had a hole in the wall which we found funny tbh There was no shower gel or shampoo in the shower, we had to use the one in the hand sink, but it was screwed in the wall so we couldn't really take it closer to the shower... Not great in that front Still good value for money, seeing how expensive things are in Brussels

Comfortable beds in a three person bedroom, decent shower and toilet. Good for a getaway with friends. Central location too.

the window was broken it had no heating it smelled like smoke really bad & the bathroom smelled like pee really really bad, would not recommend this place

Good location, the staff were nice

This place is completely run down and requires urgent repairs. Don't go there unless you have no other option. If you have no other option, then go but don't bring your wife/girlfriend because it will scar your relationship. Cold floors, leaking toilet, old furniture, uncomfortable beds, the list could go on and on.

Great budget hotel.

Good value foe money hotel. I can't fault it. I've stayed in loads of hotels and despite the reviews there was nothing i could fault. Nice and warm in December. Clean and comfy room. Did it's job and i was happy.

Nothing i can think of. Unless worried about the area. But be vigilant as at night near train station has lot of dubious characters.

The location was fairly good. It was near the city center (by walk 17 minutes)

1. As a girl who traveled alone, I didn't feel safe because the hotel is located in not a very good part of the city. There are many drunk and homeless people around especially at night. It happened twice that some drunk guys approached me in bad ways which was scary so I don't recommend this hotel if you plan to travel alone as a girl. 2. It was freezing cold during the night and the heating system was broken! I was there between the 23rd and 26th of September when the temperature was 10 or less during the night and the radiator wasn't working. It was really annoying that I paid to have a warm and comfortable place to sleep but they didn't care to fix their heating system or provide a heater! 3. The staff weren't well instructed on how to behave or provide services to the guests. I told the receptionist about the cold temperature, he searched for some heater with confusion (He knows nothing about the facilities available in the hotel) and finally said that it is the same in all of Brussels and nobody uses a heating system and implied that it is my problem! while I am pretty sure that there were more complaint from other guests about cold temprature in rooms. He didn't even offer an extra blanket or sth to help me with the cold temperature. I myself asked for an extra blanket and what he gave me was the worst that a hotel can offer! It was a very old blanket without a cover. I asked for a clean bedding to cover the blanket myself. Next day, thanks to costumer services of booking.com they provided an extra decent blanket for all guests. 4. The hotel needs to be reconstructed and refurnished. The hotel and the furnitures are too old and frayed (you can find the images below). there were tears on the sheets and bedding and even towel! It was hard for me to trust in hotel cleanliness when I faced this level of negligence.
