The hotel was very modest, however the room I had, had been recently painted, with modern toilet and shower facilities. Also an easy location for the train station as well as an easy walk to the main sites. Although the hotel doesn't offer breakfast across the square is a cafe/work place which is open from 7am that offers a really great breakfast, so you can still get out early to sight see. Great for a short stay, good value for money. A comfortable room for the price that you pay. Staff were always very helpful and it is great that they are there 24/7 as you can do late check-ins. Also stored my luggage whilst I went out sight seeing which is always helpful.
The motion sensor lights are very sensitive, I only had to get out of bed and the hall light came on. Thankfully they don't stay on too long. I must remember to travel with an eye mask next time. My neighbours were also noisy the first night as well, but my second nights sleep was much better. Bedside light wasn't working, maybe check the bulb.

The staff was really nice at all times, really helpful. The location is great, it allows you to go to the city centre by walking
It also has a big park nearby, which also leads to the centre
Really nice, even though at the moment there is construction in the street where the hotel is so it's a little uncomfortable, but it will be great once it's finished
The room was really REALLY humid, cold too and the bathroom wasn't really clean... It also had a hole in the wall which we found funny tbh
There was no shower gel or shampoo in the shower, we had to use the one in the hand sink, but it was screwed in the wall so we couldn't really take it closer to the shower... Not great in that front
Still good value for money, seeing how expensive things are in Brussels
