The staff at the hotel were amazing. Karen is a lady of many talents who checked us in, showed us the room, sorted parking and then served breakfast in the morning. What an absolute credit and hard working lady she is! The beds were super comfortable and breakfast was fantastic.. the staff in the evening were attentive getting drinks and making sure we had everything. What a great stay and very traditional feel hotel .
Nothing - would have been great if we could have had a room together or added a mattress rather than two rooms- however due to late notice ( we only booked that day) we had separate rooms - for our family of 3.

The location, cleanness, the restaurant, the breakfast and on the top of all the staff care and kindness. It is a very well maintained place to stay…around Chaumont. We felt at home …thank you Team.

The patron was a sweet lady who could not do enough and personally waited on us at breakfast. Room was clean and the dinner was superb, even though we were the only guests dining.
We found our shower colder than is ideal. The heating in the bedroom was inadequate for the very cold subzero weather. We found ourselves locked out of the main reception, dining area of the hotel when going for Breakfast and could not exit from the fire escape door either as it was locked which is a bit alarming if there had been a fire in the night…..the only way we got out was by phoning reception. We had to guess the number and got it at the third attempt, there was no directory of numbers to dial by the phone.
