I had a very pleasant stay at Aktiv Hotel Schweiger. The room was reasonably priced, spacious, clean and comfortable, with a good bed and a balcony. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the breakfast was plentiful and served in a cosy dining room.
The main area for improvement is the balcony. When there is such a large balcony, it would be great if it were furnished in a way that makes you want to sit outside and enjoy it. Unfortunately, the current setup does not really invite you to stay and relax. A more comfortable and appealing balcony setup would make a noticeable difference.

Easy to access location right across the Austrian border. The room is clean and the hotel is equipped with a good sauna. Breakfast is good too. The "Füssen card" provided for free gives us discount and motivation to explore the city a bit in addition to just a short rest on the road.
There is a help-yourself-bar for in the evenings. Do bring some cash because at the checkout, your consumption in the bar goes onto a separate bill and cannot be paid by card.

Beautiful place, both the area and the hotel. The bed was comfy and big. The room was smelling nice and clean, it was spacious and warm.
I liked everything. We only stayed one night, so I didn't have the chance to try the wellness. Maybe next time.

The location is excellent. You need about 10min walk until you reach the town. Breakfast was good too.
The rooms are ancient... Poorly heated. Windows let in all the cold from outside. Beds made so much noise that you'd think you're gonna wake up the next room neighbours... Forget about doing you know what.
Bathroom was made for Hobbits and won't fit two adults at the same time. One toilet paper roll per day, so gotta be smart about your businesses. Plan ahead!
