The history of the place, the ground very good for waking .
It was to expensive for what it is , the food in the bistro and the breakfast really no good . Say that the staff in the bistro were very nice

This is a lovely little hotel and we have stayed a number of times as a stop over on a longer journey, and always enjoyed our stay. Food is excellent - they very kindly also catered for a vegan in our party, and breakfast is sublime. Rooms very nice too, comfy beds, large bathrooms, Molton Brown toiletries; and they have an old billiard room to use as and when.
Nothing major but given how often we have now stayed here, there is never any reference to that - like welcome back, or some ‘memory’ of a preference from before. We are taken through the same procedures every time when we arrive and I found that a bit off putting this time. It would be a nice, personal touch that doesn’t cost anything but simply enhances the experience, and other hotels of this category do it.
