We loved the family suite. The little cottage was surrounded with water on 3 sides. The cottage contained 3 single beds in a bedroom and a queen bed in the lounge room. The cottages are old and a little dirty. The beds were average and the couch uncomfortable BUT we had the best time. It was like stepping back in time. We relaxed on the balcony alot feeding the birds & eels. The serenity and peacefulness was what we were after and we definitely got that.
Beds are very firm (could be fixed with pillow top mattress protector) Mould in shower just needed some bleach.

Loved that it was a short walk to the beach, botanical gardens and also shops.

The location was very quiet. The parking was okay. Fairly close to sea front.
The bed was absolutely terrible, I don't know what the problem was but every time you moved it squarked just like the old time wire spring beds. And then there was no hot water at one stage, apparently the pilot light was out on the gas hot water system (Cold Showers). The reception was not manned every time I went there. Water was leaking up through the floor in the bathroom.
