Great location to ullapool and further up the highlands, breakfast was ok on our 2nd day , 1st morning there it was very dry and overdone ,
Room was very small and very dated for the price we paid , We have stayed all over Scotland and I'm afraid this was not value for money in our opinion, basic room looking onto a roof for £101 per night with breakfast, We stayed in a castle 2 weeks before this for £20 less per night , so there's a big difference in value . Also this place needs some cash spent on it , ground floor was lovely but once you go up the floors you can see the carpets and loads of other stuff needs replaced.

The staff made us very welcome. Enjoyed the meals we had.
Rooms could have been warmer.

The staff were very pleasant and the buffet food was excellent. Dinner was lovely and hot, rather large helpings
I was cold, my radiator wasn't working but I did receive a heater but I found apart from the corridors the hotel was cold. It seems old and tired, in need of a lot of TLC.
