Location
Very poor cleanliness, all dishes supplies in cupboards were all dirty, there was no broom or mop to cleanup after ourselves, the vacuums in the cupboard didn’t match the hose attachment, so we couldn’t use that either, the apartment was very dirty and dusty all around
The spa was flagged off, we were unable to enjoy
and the swimming pool seems to have no maintenance cleaner

Excellent location. Rooms and apartment were spacious.
One of the rooms had a lot of dust on the floor and in the cupboard. This was cleaned after we asked for it to be. The blind in the double room was also broken. There was so much ambient light it was challenging to sleep. We were left with one tea towel and no spares, also no spare rubbish bags to change the bin. As we were there for a week we had to ask for more. We were surprised to see the reception completely closed over the weekend although there was a number for urgent requests.

The hotel has beach front views and plenty of space for a family.
The hotel is quite rundown. The room was dirty and in need of repair with cupboard doors hanging of. The ensuite has a round spa bath with the shower above it that leeks water everywhere regardless of the shower curtain. There was an infestation of small ants that we managed to keep at bay with fly spray, and that was on the 8th floor. The hotel is right next to the Cairns hospital so be prepared for sirens and helicopters at all hours.
