Highly recommended, if you want to have a comfortable overnight stay on a longer journey.

Very nice hotel for those needing an overnight stay on a longer journey. It is close to the A7 motorway, but far enough not to hear anything. Staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is spacious and offers a classical German menu.

Not much to complain about, really. In the room we were given first, there was an annoying sound of, presumably, the heating starting up after a two week break. We were offered another room quickly, and got a few drinks for free, for the trouble.

Easy, convenient and comfortable.

Breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant served good food. Staff was friendly and the location of the hotel was easily located. Free parking is a very convenient bonus.

Nice and relaxed, decent price, very good breakfast. A good place to stay the night.

Very good breakfast. A spacious biergarten. Situated a bit away from autobahn it's rather quiet at night. Nice staff/service.

The room was very warm at night (it was during a heatwave). The ceiling fan helped somewhat though.

Great overnight stopover

The restaurant offered a variety of different types of food vegetarian and non-veg with local specialities. All very tasty. They had both indoor and outdoor seating. After a long car journey perfect place for the family and the four legged friend to rest and recharge. Breakfast had a really excellent variety of food with fresh rolls, croissants, different jams, cheese, fruit and hot stuff plus cereals. There were an excellent array of coffee and tea choices. The rooms were big enough and the shower was awesome.

The pillows were a bit lumpy, but otherwise all excellent!

Nice cosy hotel

Very cosy room, nice location, close to Heide park. Room was clean, nice shower and comfortable beds. Breakfast was really good as well. Bonus points for horse pasture view through the window.

Family Room in Soltau

Our quadruple room had a second bedroom with bunkbeds for the kids. Nice decor. Good lighting. Excellent breakfast. Plenty of parking. We didn't eat dinner at the restaurant, but it was quite busy, people looked happy, and the food looked good. The surrounding landscape was very nice.

Our room overlooked the Biergarten, so we could hear the people below us, although it wasn't too bad (at least on a Tuesday evening).
